The person in this position is responsible for assisting in the overall operation of the Food & Beverage Department at West Pines Golf Club.  This person must be able to open or close this department. This position reports to the Golf Professional and the Food & Beverage Manager. Open or close F&B department for daily operation. Greets customers in a courteous and professional manner. Prepares Beverage Cart for daily operation. Keeps Clubhouse F&B display stocked as well as the Beverage Cart. Makes regular rounds on the Beverage Cart without disturbing clientele on the course. Operates Fore! Reservations POS system. Keeps accurate sales records throughout the day. Prepares hot foods such as hamburgers and hotdogs to sell. Keeps work area neat, tidy, and free of any safety hazards. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of, or ability to learn, standard operating practices for golf courses and specifically West Pines Golf Club. Have a general knowledge of golf industry standards and golf game itself (or ability to learn them). Ability to display a positive attitude, outgoing personality, and eagerness to serve our customers. Ability to multi-task under pressure. Ability to use simple hand tools. Ability to follow written and/or verbal job assignments and/or crew assignments. Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis. Ability to exert continuous physical effort including frequent bending, walking, manipulating and heavy lifting of equipment.
